I can honestly say that this the best gym I've belonged to. Members are extremely friendly but there to do work. Every trainer there greets you by name every time and makes you feel welcome and able to ask them any question. As a big bonus, it's VERY clean. The big windows highlight the park and let in tons of light which makes it not feel like the cave that most gyms feel like. Beyond that, Carlos as a trainer is legit. Great gym in a great location with wall-to-wall views of Piedmont Park. Carlos is an exceptional trainer (and human) and has built a real community—people know each other, chat with each other, encourage each other. Workouts at UBBC are never the easiest part of my day, but they are often the best.

UBC has an amazing community and you will be warmly welcomed by name every time you walk in. The gym is always very clean and I genuinely feel comfortable and safe every time I walk in.
