They gave me this pointy stick and told to use their stick and to scratch off the code and then it ruined my gift card. I said I could use a penny and they told me to use the stick. They said they can’t help me and gave me a number to call and I called it and then nobody help me still. They did the same thing to my mom. Not very helpful. Never apologized to either of us much.

My first visit to Ulta was fantastic. A staff member named Jamellia welcomed me warmly as soon as I walked in. Being new to makeup, I needed guidance on finding the right products for my skin. Jamellia was both knowledgeable and approachable, making it a fun learning experience as she helped me choose colors and products that suited me. I ended up purchasing MAC and E.L.F items, and now I feel confident doing my own natural look. It was a wonderful introduction to Ulta thanks to Jamellia, and I’m excited to return!

I want to personally have a shout out to the Ulta Beautiys, that I frequently shop at. One is on Alpine Avenue in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and the other on the East Beltline in Grand Rapids Michigan. I have seen a 100% turn around in the way that Ulta has been serving their customers. They are knowledgeable about the products they are selling, they are very inviting when you walk in the door and they’re not just trying to sell a product. I don’t usually write reviews but I came in today with a specific product i wanted to get. The woman at the front was helpful when asking where I could find the product. However, what I wanted was located near the salon in the back, where the salon employees were sitting in the salon chairs, whispering to each other and definitely not doing their job. It was off putting and made me leave immediately.
