Here’s a polished 5-star review you could post: I had an absolutely fantastic experience thanks to Donetta and Deonte. I walked in with only about 20 minutes until closing, and despite the late hour, they treated me with patience, kindness, and genuine care. So, I have gotten hair tinsel many times, last time I got it, I went to the Cary Ulta to get it installed (AMAZING experience) and who installed it did it in 20, no problem. Full head of tinsel and it was INCREDIBLE. This time, I go to this store with my SINGULAR appointment (which includes 15 strands/15 minutes IN THE DESCRIPTION) and the person installing immediately makes me feel like I am in the wrong for not booking back to back X4 appointments because it takes her a tedious amount of time to put in the tinsel (mind you... read more

Avoid coming to this location after 7:30 PM—the staff is unlikely to assist you. While I usually give the benefit of the doubt when it comes to customer service, I’ve had multiple negative experiences here. Most recently, I placed an online order and waited until what I thought was closing (8pm) to pick it up. After arriving, I checked on the status several times (since it had been over two hours since the order was placed) and then waited an additional 30 minutes for a single item to be bagged. The experience manager was extremely unprofessional, I accidentally walked into the bathroom holding a brow pencil and she stopped me mid door close and rudely stated I needed to leave unpaid merchandise outside. Then she smugly walked past us as we left the bathroom stating that the merchandise was at the register. As a lead cashier at a different Ulta, I would never treat a guest like that.
