As a licensed cosmetologist, frequent Ulta shopper, and a queer person of color, I’m very disappointed with my experiences at this location. On multiple visits, Lauren has never welcomed me, offered assistance, or asked if I needed help, while I regularly see other customers greeted and assisted. Girrrrrrrllll, let me tell you about Linda and Natalina! They were my literal SAVIORS today, one week before getting married. First off, Linda is a true artist for all things hair! Just spent 45 minutes in the Ulta Store North Greenbush. What a disappointment. No one offered assistance although I saw two on the floor. One was on her phone the whole time I was there and one just walked around. When we would make eye contact she quickly walked away (doing nothing). This Ulta Beauty saved me and my prom night! After my appointment at a salon fell through, I went Ulta hoping I could at least get my makeup done, and if not, I could at least buy the proper things to do it myself. We explained my situation to one of the employees, and she immediately went to go talk to her manager, Lauren. Luckily they had someone coming in for makeup. The ulta beauty in East Greenbush is awesome!!! Sky styled my hair for me & Katelyn did my makeup & they both did suchhhh a great job!!! I was so happy with my results let me show you. It was my 50th birthday I was feeling and am feeling down being I lost my son on a car accident one month ago and I just wanted to feel pretty for my big day.
