I wanted to try the nars foundation sample before buying the foundation. One of the employee said they do not give out samples. I was just wondering if Ulta stops giving out samples because I have been to other places they do give samples. Even I bought makeup as well near $100

I had a really disappointing experience at this Ulta. The employee helping us, Emily, repeatedly called my boyfriend “my love” after almost every sentence. While I understand some people use pet names casually, it made me very uncomfortable and didn’t sit right with me at all. It felt unprofessional and inappropriate to repeatedly address someone else’s partner that way. My return exchange at this specific Ulta was a very uncomfortable experience. I wanted to return a product that hadn’t worked for me and before even reaching the register, an employee comes over to me and I explain that I would like to make a return. They start insisting on an exchange and bringing over products that cost twice the amount of the item I was returning while I was still waiting in line. Loved my experience at Ulta! I was returning a skin tint that didn’t really work for me and without even asking, Fernie helped me find a Clinique skin tint that I now loveeee. Fernie is Super friendly and funny, 10/10 experience will definitely come back and ask for Fernie!
