I was helped by Marybel C. who was fun and complimentary. I’m usually afraid to ask anything because I don’t want to be trapped in a sales convo. But Marybel was so much fun. She jumped in to help me try on Clinique products. I never let anyone put makeup on me but she just made it playful, like when you play with makeup with your friends in high school. Went here last week and got the choppiest layers that look ridiculous -which I never asked for. She was just scissor happy. It’s going to take so long for my hair to grow out again, why wouldn’t you error on the side of caution and cut a little then ask them if they want it shorter?! So disappointing and I absolutely hate my hair now, I will never ever go back.
I went into Ulta today and was helped by Julian, and I have to say—he is such a genuine, kind soul. I mentioned that I’m doing my own makeup for my wedding, and he went above and beyond to help me. Not only did he offer amazing tips and tricks, but he also took the time to physically show me how to apply my makeup step-by-step.
