I had a very disappointing experience at Ulta Beauty. I booked a kid’s haircut for my 7-year-old daughter, but was unexpectedly charged for an adult “signature” haircut. The explanations kept changing—first I was told it was because she had a knot in her hair, then because her hair was washed. I’ve taken her to multiple Ulta locations before, and washing has always been included with a kid’s haircut, so this did not make sense. What a fantastic store .. I went in today purchased some perfume LIBRE L’EAU NUE Yves Saint Laurent (ohhh such a wonderful scent I ended up purchasing The LIBRE too) and cosmetics and I have to say the store looked fabulous it was clean and colorful with a huge variety of perfume and cosmetics and hair care .. I'm writing this as I stand in store an associate asked me to move from the makeup I'm looking to buy to assist someone that just walked in. I’m deeply disappointed with the customer service at Ulta Beauty. I walked in fully prepared to spend a significant amount of money and instead felt completely ignored. Unless you fit a very specific mold—young, white, and sorority-aged—no one seems interested in helping you.
