Every visit to Ulta has been a great experience. The staff always greets you with a smile and real willingness to help — whether I stop in after a workout or all glammed up, the service is the same. They know the store like the back of their hand and often walk with me like a personal shopper to find what’s in my app cart. I came in to Ulta for a blonding service, showed a picture, and asked for as much blonde coverage as possible. Unfortunately, the stylist did not listen to what I wanted, and when I expressed that I wasn’t happy, there was no acknowledgment or empathy — I was simply rung up and sent on my way. I feel like this store scammed me. They pressured me into signing up for what I thought was just a rewards program, but it turned out to be a credit card. They never clearly explained that it was a credit card, and I only realized after the fact. Very misleading and dishonest — customers deserve transparency.
