Overpaid for belt drive bikes (2) at the end of 2021 and now learn they have no replacement parts for simple shifting mechanisms. They now have traditional derailer chain driven e bikes at a much less cost. The tires supplied on the delivered bikes do not hold air for a substantial period of time. Overall I would say we are disappointed in Hilltopper bikes! So, good luck if you purchase one.
I have a 20+ year old Ironhorse Maverick that I love and could not replace it. I wanted an e-assist that could help me finish my longer rides without being very complicated or expensive. I found the Hilltopper sprinter kit and purchased it. It is a great product that works perfectly! Would definately recommend to upgrade your bike to an e-bike!

My kit shipped fast and I love it. I could only afford to order the sprinter kit, but it has completely changed how I get around. Before I converted my bike, I never used it to go anywhere, because my town is sprawling and full of steep hills. Ever since I got my sprinter kit however, I've been shopping with my bike and commuting to work on it instead of driving. 10/10
I just used their e-bike again today as I biked 10 miles around the Columbia River. I am one of their "older" clients (73 years old) and I bought the bike parts originally about 10 years ago. So I guess both I and the bike are still working.
