If you need Senior housing & have some money, try Sonoma County. Autumn Leaves is a depressing "Dead End" dump & sadly one of the best senior complexes in Ukiah. Limited everything, including senior healthcare & transportation options. Ukiah's roads are total crap. Schlepping groceries from Safeway to Autumn Leaves would be exhausting in usual 100+ degrees conditions & turn you into a dried raisin. I'll pass on this retirement location.
