Just use caution, if they tell you a procedure is covered by insurance, don't blindly trust that it means it will be affordable. I was told AFTER I received a $1,500 bill for a failed nerve block, that they recently put policies in place to prevent such surprise bills from happening to others. Unfortunately for me, not in time. I was simply told that my insurance would cover it, and this being my first-ever procedure like this, combined with the chronic pain I was in, I was desperate for help and believed it.
