This was one of our best stays in Helen. Beautiful and peaceful, an amazing place to stay. Not only is Helen a slice of Europe, but Uhuburg Castle tops it off for that European feel. The views are amazing ....from the towers to the grounds, and the atmosphere is wonderful. I'm so glad we found this beautiful Castle. I'm sure we will be back over and over again. Bob and his family and staff are 5-star. We highly recommend it.
My family and I arrived on a Thursday night and were immediately by Kat. She welcomed us, gave us a quick tour and showed us our rooms. We booked three rooms, the Dutchess, Princess and the Queen. They were absolutely beautiful and the whole castle has been so thoughtfully designed and decorated. All the staff/family are so accommodating and make you feel so welcomed. This is the second time that we’ve celebrated our wedding anniversary at Uhuburg…and we will be returning again. Everything aspect of this gorgeous castle is overwhelmingly beautiful and immaculate. The grounds are stunning, the staff are amazing…especially Natasha (who prepared the most delicious five star breakfast each morning) and Cat(who is helpful in any and every way). Stayed over the weekend in the King Chamber. Everything was spectacular. Beautiful views, the room was comfortable and well-appointed. Breakfast is served fresh every morning, made almost entirely with produce grown on the castle grounds, and Bob (who built the castle) helped to serve and ate with all the guests. Absolutely wonderful experience, hope to be able to come back again someday!
Unbeatable unique Helen experience. The castle grounds were beautiful and private. The castle and room were very clean. The staff were SO friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious every morning and included food grown on property. Can’t wait to visit again!
