I am a friend of a resident who has lived in this facility for two years now .....and I’m disgusted on how short staff this place is ... sometimes there will only be one CNA for 15-20 residents... DISGUSTED.... you should be ashamed of yourself and hopefully the owners of this company will take better care of their parents or loved ones than they do over there in Endicott... The entire staff is overworked.... I do not recommend this place to anyone and I’m gonna tell everybody that I know about how horrible the patient care ... read more

Being at Ideal has been like living in a torture chamber. I had a hip replacement on Wednesday and came to Ideal on Friday. My pain medication was given two hours and fifteen minutes late the first time. Since then it has anywhere from one hour to twelve hours (last night after I had requested they wake me during the night so that I wouldn't wake up in excruciating pain.) They are not prompt at answering call bells either. If you need to use the bathroom you better make plans 30 - 45 minutes ahead. This place seriously needs... read more
My grandparents were residents there; it was wonderful there. Recently I paid I visit to the facility--never will I allow my relatives to live in this facility. The manner in which nurses treat their aides is despicable! The high and mighty nurse ratchets of Ideal should be ashamed of themselves. You were once CNA's; you know what it's like to do this job! How can you look at one of those CNA's and tell them "that's not my job" when they are pleading for help because they are so short staffed. What's more, you do this while ... read more
