I was not treated for cancer, but stayed on pacu 5th floor after 6 hr surgery, and the team of nurses and doctors were fantastic and very good with me, as I am not the easiest patient. Highly recommended
My mom is currently an outpatient and the care she received was very poor.o get hotel room the night. she is filing a malpractice suit against the hospital because they ruined the cancer port she had put in. The nurse pulled on the I tubing causing the port to shift now it's above her neck bone and causing more medical issues.the doctor he has prescribed a chemo medication that the FDA PULLED OFF MARKET due to killing cancer patients not helping them. Cancer did NOT kill my mother- the inaction of the doctors did! If you’re an older woman with stage 4 cancer on Medicare/medicaid your life is not worth even trying to save. Run, don’t walk to get away from here! Only compassion shown to our family who lived in her room for 5 days, sleeping on the floor, etc was from the traveling nurses. Patient advocate didn’t even respond to our requests until after my mom passed away. We requested an autopsy and then had to request it be sent to us multiple times.
