This entire hospital especially the emergency department is a complete joke. They denied my husband care because he couldn’t breathe sitting down and wanted to stand up. No one tried to assist him, he begged them for water the nurses refused to give him any water and then had the audacity to call the police on him because he said he was leaving (due to the lack of care). Such a junk EMERGENCY Center! They don't know the meaning of EMERGENCY. Went to treat extreme severe stomach pain, had to wait for 3 hours to see a doctor. 4 more hours for simple bloodwork and urine test results to come. Poor nurse service. There was just one doctor for about 15-20 patients. The doctors don't even tell you the reason for the sickness until asked promptly. Unkind doctor and nurses. horrible experiences all around
Was in a really bad car accident Friday came back Sunday. Per er come back if any changes. Still waiting 2 plus hrs to see a Dr. Mind you my eyes are swollen , I can't walk and ribs hurt when I breath. But still waiting.
As a healthcare worker, I would not recommend this facility. My family member needed to be transferred to Cleveland Clinic Main Campus because as they put it, “They are a rural hospital and don’t have the specialists needed”. It took over 3 hours to get the squad to come. When I demanded an escalation in care, the staff would stand at the doorway and say they understand and the nurse practitioner stated she ordered pain meds she shouldn’t have.
