I visited the lab on 7/2/2026 with an individual who is deathly afraid of needles, to have blood drawn. The staff was extremely patient and understanding. What I expected to be an overwhelming and traumatic experience turned out to actually be somewhat pleasant. If you ladies are reading this, we appreciate your kindness and empathetic nature! If the doctor orders labs again we are definitely visiting this facility because of you.
I do not even know where to begin. Don't even waste your time. They do not listen. They do not read medical charts they just default. I do not know why I even try anymore. Drs have a wonderful history of dismissing women's symptoms. So I don't know why I expected any different here. I came in to the first appt prepared and the Dr blew me off while the nurse was too busy being offended by a tone of voice. They police your toneore than view your chart. Yes, I came to the hospital two and a half hours ago with chest pains, and back pains from a fall at christmas time.I can't move my right side without hurting.Who knows I might be having a heart attack?They don't care the worst hospital around. Who's near about 5 hours? I still have not been seen by a doctor Getting tired of waiting thinking about leaving. If my health ain't that important for them guys, I go somewhere else.If anybody needs help right away, I would advise called different hospital
I am a patient of UH, but today I was at Devon Place to pick up my Thanksgiving box from the Pantry. We were waiting for my bus to come back to pick us up to go home. The attendant was rude to me about my food cart being in the way of patients entering and leaving the diabetic clinic. He waited to be rude to me while my daughter was gone. The cart was not in the way. To have an attendant be so rude is not away to act. Also he greeted people as they entered and when they left the building.
