Visited Ion this past weekend to see a family member, and while I understand it’s student housing, the upkeep left a lot to be desired. The lobby was passable, but the moment we turned the corner, we were hit with a strong, unpleasant odor and it only got worse on her floor. Whether it’s the carpet or something else, it’s clear (also from previous reviews) this complex needs serious attention. These students deserve better. A full upgrade is overdue.
This is year two of my son being a resident of the Ion. Although the first year was ok, with minimal issues, I can't say the same for this year. Today we're going on day 17 without a refrigerator. I've contacted every chain of command and still no resolution. This is completely unacceptable. All issues should be priority when you are paying this kind of money monthly.
No major problems. Package pickup takes a while but that’s about it. Probably better to send packages to a locker or something.
Ion apartments are very good. I believe they are overhated by others because they are not used to living in areas that aren’t completely clean. I have no complaints about the living conditions or staff, but the hallways do have a rancid odor.
