I had a very frustrating experience at UFP White Bear Lake. I arrived at 7:00 AM for my scheduled unload and ended up waiting the entire day. There was very little communication from staff about the delay, and I felt ignored when I asked for updates. This delay cost me a full working day and affected my schedule significantly. I understand that delays can happen, but better communication and respect for drivers’ time would go a long way. I hope management improves the unloading process for truck drivers in the future.
I arrived at 7:30 AM for my scheduled unload and it is now 10:00 AM. There are no other trucks in front of me, no one else being loaded or unloaded, and the unload/load area is not busy. Despite that, I have not been unloaded or even started the unloading process. What’s frustrating is that employees are visibly taking breaks and not actively working, while I’m sitting here losing drive time and money. As a driver, time is critical. They need to update timing on the google maps As they open at 7:30 not 7 and also need to call the number before checking in
Great place. There's a nice gravel lot just north of the entrance, on the west side of Hoffman, to park overnight. Really quiet! Called in the morning and got unloaded shortly afterwards.
