Waited 6 months for an appt only to have it rescheduled by them. Then I rec'd an email at 8:13 this morning that they have a cancellation & an earlier appt is available but only provide a link to login to UF Health which is the worst website ever. Despite my putting in correct user/pass it said I needed to reset password; followed prompts only to NEVER get the code that was supposedly sent to my email. I don’t understand where the negative reviews are coming from. I had a very positive experience during my visit. Dr. Kaunitz and his medical assistant make a wonderful team! They made me feel comfortable throughout the entire appointment. Everything was handled with the utmost professionalism and respect. I’m so happy that I found my gynecologist. Thank you so much!
Dr. KAUNITZ is a provider I do not recommend. During my appointment, I felt spoken down to and treated without basic respect or compassion. In a setting where patients are already vulnerable, I left feeling belittled and deeply uncomfortable. No one should leave a medical visit feeling that way. I would not recommend him to anyone seeking supportive, professional care.
There is a difference between providing medical guidance and speaking to a patient in a way that causes emotional harm. This encounter with Dr. Kaunitz lacked compassion and professionalism, especially in an OB/GYN setting where patients are already vulnerable. I would not recommend this provider to patients who value respectful, patient-centered care.
