The UF health care system by far has to be the absolute worst system for patient care. Their rules and policies leave absolutely no room for humanity! If you dont have an appointment too bad go to the ER even if it is something simple, non -life threatening but needs treated. They dont care if you dont have the money for an ER visit. They dont care if you go broke. they just DONT CARE!. Who wants a medical team that puts policy and rule above basic human decency. I gave this facility a 1 star because I couldn’t give them a zero. Trust me when I tell you that this facility is disorganized and can care less about patient care. I was told my first appointment was with Dr Costa, only to attend the appointment and have the Nurse Practitioner show up (not the doctor). My second appointment was with Dr Kumar, very knowledgeable but could care less about patients. He recommended for me to have my ureter stent removed by my Urologist in Orlando for him to clearly see the damaged area, and do ... read more
