I have visited the UF Health ER- Brownwood twice in the last week for reasons I won't discuss. However, at both visits I was seen swiftly and treated with utmost compassion. Every provider, from check in to check out, were personal, caring, comforting, and eager to provide me the best care possible. On Friday May 15, 2026 The staff ran the gamut in welcoming and friendliness to aloof and cavalier but the ER doctor was absolutely spot on with his diagnosis and quickly implemented a very proactive treatment plan until my family member was moved to Spanish Spanish Plains for her unexpected but needed surgery. I was visiting from out of state and experiencing a really bad sore throat to where I wasn't eating or drinking anything for 3 days. My friend took me to this location. I checked in around 8 pm. The lady at the front desk was so nice and got all my information. I sat down and they called my name 20 mins later. The Rns were amazing and fast getting all my information on my health, ran tests, and then had me wait for my results for an hour .
