I have now seen multiple Rheumatologists at UF and they are not it. They only talk about fibromyalgia, even tho I was diagnosed for the last 15 years as having an autoimmune disease and the Mayo clinic also diagnosed me with the same autoimmune disease as the doctors in NY. UF doctors refuse to acknowledge it and will only say I have fibromyalgia. I guess they think they know more than the mayo clinic. They don’t. They also don’t listen to you or your symptoms, I would steer real clear of these doctors. They won’t help you.
The doctors are great, but they have double the case load as similar practices. My last Rheumatologist Dr Sanchez was amazing but left suddenly. Now my new doctor is refusing to fill my prednisone knowing Shands Medical Plaza Pharmacy sent my Orencia to another pharmacy without permission. Stay away from anything Shands until there's new mgt.
