I had to go to the ER here for my iv shunt. Everyone in the hospital carries themselves with professionalism even when they dont receive it in return. My nurses Rachel and Aira were a cut above
If you want to stay a whole 12 hour shift, you're looking at the right place!! Make sure you bring your charger, a sleeping bag, and make sure you eat before. These staff are extremely aggressive and don’t care about nobody’s health. They rather just bs with each other then clock out. I don’t recommend nobody here! Save yourself a lot of time.
I have been in this emergency room multiple times. And yes waiting time is horrible. But the level of care that Is given Is why I will continue to go. I know they will do the best they can. Donna,Lorena are Angels! They are in the overnight/waiting for room area of beds.

Worst experience of all time. I’ve had my fair share of horrendous experiences at Shands ER, but this one takes the cake. I came from a high speed MVC and it took them 3 hours just to do a routine check on me and another 2 hours to give me a CT scan. I’ve been here for 7 hours and they have no intention of releasing me anytime soon. This place should not be considered a functioning hospital. Complete lack of professionalism and insane levels of ignorance.
