Emergency room department was great at taking care of me
Worst hospital ever my grandmother was in emergency waiting room for 8 hours (80 year old lady sitting for hours!!!). It should be a concern and priority to hire more staff being that all the staff in emergency room just gather by security desks joking around but don’t assist elderly patients to restroom and tell the family members “oh you can do all of that” honestly this is the worst service we ever received. At this point night crew needs a totally new staff who love their job and not just a paycheck
Went to Shands ( the emergency side NEXT to the VA Hospital) to get a bite to eat, went inside the Shands Terrace Market Cafe on the 3rd floor met a serious Cook with the nicknamed "Fresh." I watched him as he took orders, multitasked, prepared a fresh pizza ,kept the area clean and ran the cash register while talking to people! There was no one else at the register at the time and he was doing everything preposition and one very smoothly and effortlessly!
