Do yourself a favor and ask your doc for a generic referral and avoid even trying to schedule an MRI or CT scan. Look elsewhere. They are completely disfunctional.

I want to sincerely thank the incredible MRI staff at Shands, located across from the pediatric ER, for the exceptional care they provided on 7/21. From the moment we arrived, they were attentive, kind, and truly compassionate toward my daughter, who has Down syndrome. They need to update their policies and procedures. It is impossible to schedule with them because they demand absurdly specific things that are not standard at any normal practice. My doctor has faxed so many forms; I've faxed so many forms. I had to give up and scheduled at a clinic that functions.
