Blown away by the facilities and staff here. The level of care is excellent and everyone’s bedside manner is catered to children and parents. I would recommend this ER to anyone and feel confident my child will be given the best care here. Thank you UF Health!
I took my daughter here on September 5 2025 it was 4:30/5am when we arrived due to a very concerning rash that was spreading on her body as we sat there it only grew. The “attending” started googling things a the rash and GUESSED a diagnosis. I had to walk out the room once to go look for the “attending” to bring her back for more concerns due to it spreading into her mouth and’s having throat pain etc as we sat there. My little girl, a year and a half, was diagnosed with bcell lukemia. Pretty much everyone here has been wonderful. The housekeeping does an excellent job and are friendly. Dr. Wynn is great with my daughter and very nice. Nurse Courtney and everyone else have been great as well. CPA Alicia is wonderful too. My daughter loves her. She fights the vitals, hates the tools. The drs and nurses were great! They kept my grandson occupied and calmed his fears in the ER. The receptionist that gives you the sticker at the window seemed rude and unempathetic. I didn't get her name but it was the 23rd of June around 545pm. When a family comes in worried about their child or grandson the last thing we need is a rude person who doesn't seem to care, helping us!
