I have lived with back pain and burning pain down my left leg for 4 years and 10 months. After trying everything available, acupuncture, PT, supplements, TENS unit, etc., I finally relented to seek out a surgical option. Have had shoulder and knee replacement, along with spine surgery. All of the doctors and staff have been wonderful, along with the results of my surgeries. I live almost 2 hrs away, but after my shoulder replacement, moved all my surgeries to UF Gainesville. I have not been sorry. A lot of miles, but worth it.
New Lease on Life Thanks to Dr Kumar, his Team of Doctors , Nurses and Staff. The procedure" Endoscopic Decompression" gave immediate relief for my ability to Walk better but also longer. It all started with the dedicated and concerned Dr Meroney giving me steroid injections producing 80% relief. The entire team at UF Pain is fully focused on my pain issues. Dr Kumar found issues on MRIs and offered me options and potential risks for each option. First was an epidural that lasted months till my surgery on my neck. Minimally invasive decompression on the left side resulted in eliminating pain it was causing in my neck and left arm.
