The staff are not professional or mindful of the environment, as there was a long line of at least 20 people while staff were talking and laughing loudly. They were also going quite slowly with no sense of urgency. The front desk staff member also came across as unfriendly and annoyed. I only visited this location because the Oaks Mall and Kanapaha locations were both closed. I will not be coming here again. UF needs to work on staffing appropriately, so there are more people to help.
The person sitting at the desk when you check in for your lab draw is extremely rude and unprofessional. She is on her phone and being extremely short with any patient that ask her any type of questions. When you go up to ask her if a certain name has been called or how to check in etc. she has told every single person rudely to go back and ask the ladies yourself. Sat here for 2 hours after my appointment for lab work. All of the ladies were extremely rude and would slam the door in your face if you tried to ask any questions. Very unpleasant experience. Treated every single one of the patients like they were garbage. One sweet lady asked , does it always take this long and a worker walking through had a smart comment back to her and was very unprofessional. In my opinion, all of the lab drawing ladies were beyond unprofessional
They were so rude and I felt so uncomfortable I had to actually leave. The person drawing my blood grabbed my arm unexpectedly at one point and yelled at me to relax. I've never had a more awful experience getting my blood drawn. I was feeling vulnerable anyway because I'm a little bit queasy and this person kept snapping at me and rolling her eyes. I'd expect a modicum of kindness or at least gentleness in this situation.
Second UF Health lab ive gone to TODAY that is closed 10 minutes before the TIME POSTED ON THEIR OWN DOOR. drove across town in 5:00 traffic just to waste even more of my time
