I took my Mother to the UF ER on October 1, 2020 for a severe eye bleed. A Dr. Morrissey attended to her. I told him that her father had died of a stroke and that I wanted her off if the Eliquis (blood thinner) and admitted under observation. He stated that if she was taken off of Eliquis that she may have a stroke. I told him that I believed that she was having a stroke at that time. He failed to do as I requested and further failed to provide an MRI at that time, merely making an appointment with her eye doctor for Monday... read more

These guys provided me with the best care I have ever received in a hospital when I had COVID. I was just thankful and blessed that these people assisted me with love . I hadn’t came across anyone that had an attitude they did their job whole heartedly and for that I am forever grateful. I just don’t know what else to say but thank you from the bottom of my heart. Keep doing what you do. You Guys Rock.❤️❤️❤️❤️

I have been repeatedly lied to for several months. I am unable to do anything I love-art, music, picking up my child. Something wrong with my arm since February continues to worsen while staff that work from home are obviously confused as to what their jobs entail. They lie about setting up appointnents, faxes, referrals etc. The Doctors and Nurses seem intelligent and competent, but the staff are completely useless.

Business response:

Melania, Thanks for taking the time to leave us feedback. We'd like to find out what happened and investigate further in order to directly address your concerns. Please give our Patient Relations department a call at 904-244-4427, anytime between 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Kind Regards, UF Health Jacksonville Communications and Marketing

How would you like to do a 2 day preparation for a colonoscopy, including COVID-19 testing on Monday, just to be told on the day of the procedure they won't do it because they lost your COVID-19 test results?

I went in Saturday for help. They saw me and then send me to a hotel. I told them I need my meds for my mental health and my physical problems. With out my mental health meds I become highly suicidal and my physical meds I can't go to the bathroom and other things as well. Beside not having my meds they have not provided nothing to eat for out here this day 3 with out meds or food. I called the hospital and everybody keep giving me the runaround. I can't take these voices anymore so if the hospital don't care why should I. I... read more

My wife was scheduled to be induced today June 30th at 10 pm. She was called and ask questions as far as her exposure to the coronavirus and basically told she did not have to take the test yesterday. So today we get packed up and ready to go and she is called and basically told that because her procedure is not “emergency” that we will have to wait 1 to 2 days from now. I took off work so that I can be there with my wife to get this done and now that leaves me less time to spend with my newborn seeing as I have to be back a... read more
