I was prescribed a cholesterol medication several months ago—which is effective. After using my one-month sample, I was told by cvs that my doc needs to call CareMark for insurance coverage—this has not happened to date. I’ve made numerous phone calls to All 3 UF heart&vasc locations, and have driven to both Nocatee and Jax locations trying to get someone to help with my Medicare coverage for this drug that is costing me 335.00 a month. Well , was referred by my primary (downstairs) same building mind you. We have tried 13 times to make an appointment, no call back! Our primary actually sent someone there to hand deliver the referral. We are definitely going elsewhere, my condition can’t wait. Do not go there, sorry if you’re trapped by Medicare.

I tried calling and the representative appeared to have English as a second language. She was very rude and refused to help me telling me after I faxed an order in she would not schedule for it. She said I was not in their system and would not ask me for information to add me as is typical. I asked for someone else who could add me to the system so I could make an appointment but sent to a message.
