Once you finally get an appointment doctor Ulmer is great. However, it seems everytime we schedule an appointment (which they are booked like 4-6 months out) they try to reschedule it and push it further…. They’ll say “we have an opening tomorrow” well that doesn’t work when you live 5 hours away… We plan and schedule all of our daughters oncology appointments together but the audiology appointments are always the issue. Mind you, we waited 9 months to get her hearing aids…

My 1 year old is a patient here and our experience has always been great from check in all the way through check out. All of the staff is kind and helpful. I’d specifically like to acknowledge my child's audiologist Kristin Letlow. She has been phenomenal through the process of my son’s hearing loss diagnoses. Very informative not only on the hearing loss itself but on available programs that can help us appropriately navigate his disability. She has helped make sure that the process to get hearing aids and speech therapy fo... read more

Don't waste your time going here. They will take your insurance for the exam and diagnosis but the joint clinic to actually get the hearing aid devices does not take any insurance it is out of pocket only. We were not made aware of this by our insurance referral or the clinic until after the fact. How is a senior citizen supposed to afford $4k to $8k for hearing aids? We couldn't get the records either so have to start over somewhere else with another exam to actually use the insurance to help cover the hearing aids. A compl... read more

My girlfriend goes here for her cochlear implant needs and issues. Unfortunately when an emergency comes up, it's impossible to get into contact with the Drs. We've had an issue with the cochlear for 2 months now. We were told there is nothing they can do until the next appointment. That's 2 weeks from today. The issues have taken toll on my girlfriend. It prevents her from getting sleep. She can't hardly focus due to the problem. She always tired and irritable. It's affecting her everyday life and making her miserable. Whic... read more
