Thank you to the staff at UF Health ER! Prior to contacting them, I had reached out to HCA after I was advised by an Urgent Care to contact them, regarding being assessed for a head injury. After my concern was coldly dismissed by the man on the phone at HCA, I was hesitant to even reach out to another place. Thankfully, the staff at UF are far more compassionate, and I received excellent care. I will always recommend this ER to anyone in need of emergency help.

I went to the UF ER at Kanapaha on Monday morning, February 16. I had an incisional leak from a surgery on January 28 that needed some attention. I drove three hours from Sarasota. I was greeted at the registration desk by the ladies who were upbeat and smiling. Check me in. I probably waited 20 minutes. Was taken back to the triage room ask the normal questions from the nurse that was attending to me and then taken back to the exam room. Nurse who took my stats when I walked in was pretty darn mean. It appeared that she felt very powerful in her position. She shouldn’t work with patients. The other staff members were nice. Security guards were super helpful and kind (Bill and Jay).
