I was told by the resident that my reflux was seasonal allergies even tho I'm only symptomatic after I eat or drink. And I do not have seasonal allergies. Then the attending (male), whom I've never met before, comes in and immediately tells me it's Rumination Syndrome and it's because I'm stressed and anxious. I'm not. And I have zero symptoms of that. There's so much more. Yeah, never going back. Do not recommend. I was a patient there for about 7 years.
These doctors are WORTHLESS. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. A complete waste of time. I met with Dr. Lehar Khanna about symptoms that I have been having for years that have progressively gotten worse. She instead told me I was “too young” to be sitting there chalked my symptoms up to “being a woman.” Don’t waste your time.
Waste of my time, don’t waste yours. This place is awful. It’s like no one has customer service skills anymore. The Dr acted like he was on a time crunch, he spent less than 15 mins with me, and I feel like he really didn’t listen to what I was saying. I waited 9 months to get into this place, and it was NOT worth it. He spent about 10 mins typing, and then barely asking me questions, he prescribed me a pill, and left. Paid more than $1500 for tests (my co pay after insurance), didn’t give me an appt until 6 months later to hear the results. I can’t make the appt (so far away, didn’t realize I’d have a conflict). So rescheduled - it’ll be another 10 (yes TEN) months before they can reschedule me. So, well over a year will go by after the test before I hear results. Very disappointing since I specifically changed to them so that I had coordinated healthcare through UF Health (all my records and tests would be in one system).
