I wouldn't even give them 1 star but I had to in order to tell you to stay away! I saw 3 different doctors who were all horrible. No eye contact, and constant writing, typing,(when I wasn't even speaking. They Did Not Listen to me. They were very happy to prescribe me medications that weren't appropriate for my situation(and that I didn't take). They spent all of 5 minutes in the office with me and then ended the session and left for another appointment. If anyone needs help, It's the"doctors" they employ!

I have been attending UF Psychiatry for over 10 years. I have been under psychiatric care and therapy for over 30 years. He has been managing by medications and other needs and is just outstanding. Very knowedgeable and always listens and answers my questions thoroughly. He has helped me through several crises over the years. Thankful.

While in the waiting room, a patient arrived 11 minutes late. One of the staff members berated her, dismissed her request to be addressed privately, and violated her rights as a patient and human. People being treated her suffer from a number of mental health conditions, and being treated this way by staff is APPALLING! My experience was not good. I was rushed through the evaluation and really how can someone determine what you need in 20 minutes. Felt no compassion from the psychiatrist. He is just moving through the sheepole. Next!
