I have to argue with Cara Barton, the leasing manager, every single time I have any type of question or rebuttal regarding my apartment. 10/10 the most unprofessional company i have ever had to deal with. Very confrontational, dismissive, and difficult to communicate with, which makes even simple concerns unnecessarily stressful. I expect a basic level of respect and professionalism, and unfortunately, that has not been my experience here. Whoever the owner is really needs to have more control of their investment.
Absolutely DO NOT recommend renting from here. One month after signing my lease they decided to start construction on the building I’m living in 5 days a week. As a nursing student who works night, it’s affected my life extremely negatively. They must allow the workers to smoke in the building because the entire basement floor reeks of cigarette smoke. Additionally, I have contacted Laurie 3 times with no response. Do not rent from here.
I wanted to rent from them but the conversation I had with Alex was very unusual and off putting. I told him I was interested in scheduling a tour. There was a long pause to where I had to say hello? A normal response would be “yes I’m available at this time, what is a good time for you?” So on and so on. Then he says can I ask you some questions, I said sure. This place was filthy when I moved in, it looked like the oven had never once been cleaned. Giant gaping hole on the front door where a lock should be. The first time I turned on the air conditioner, giant cockroaches flew up from the basement. FLEW up. They had wings. It was also extremely common to just walk-through cockroaches on the front porch when I came in at night.
