Recently I had an opportunity to go with 4 visiting orthodox Kerala Namboodhiri priests to Udipi Cafe, Sugar Land for a banana leaf lunch. I have no second opinion about the quality and taste of food, but serving in banana leaf in typical South Indian style in US? Well, Satish and the staff gave us the ultimate surprise and satisfaction. The priests left US; this lunch as one of their surprises during a brief stay here. I too applaud this lunch experience.
