New patients, beware! I went to UCSF Women’s Health for an annual wellness visit and a routine pap smear. I’m a healthy 27-year-old, no conditions, just needed a PCP after aging out of my parents’ insurance. Instead, UCSF left me with over $1,500 in medical bills after charging for multiple problem-oriented visits with complex add-ons in addition to preventive services. I've only just started seeing Dr. Bahia, but she's been great so far and I feel lucky to have her as my doctor
This place is ridiculous. I’ve waited 30-45 minutes for video and in-person visits to be seen by the doctor, but I arrive 1-2 minutes past the grace period and my appointment is cancelled. I asked the receptionist to check with the doctor and she turned to speak with another receptionist then turned around within a second and stated the doctor was done with appointments.
