The Hand, Elbow and Upper Extremity Surgery Center is a multidisciplinary service comprised of a team of surgeons, physicians, and hand therapists who work collaboratively to diagnose and treat conditions of the musculoskeletal upper extremity. State-of-the-art treatments are based on outcome studies of our clinical results, as well as research on current and new treatments that is performed in our research laboratory. We provide nonsurgical care, surgery and therapy.

The facility couldn't give a clear estimate on what my cost would be before my procedure and did not outline what services I'd be charged for for my visit. I called 4 different times and was given conflicting information each time and sent to two different numbers for patient pricing estimates that were not staffed or could not actually provide an estimate. The PA I saw was knowledgeable and helpful, but support staff, billing staff, and overall transparency on services offered were poor.
I recently went in for hand surgery (March 23). Pros: Good surgery team and results. Excellent follow up virtually and with hand p/t on site. Nice facility. Cons: This is a research organization. About 45 minutes prior to my surgery an attending physician trained a resident on how to numb my arm completely using a portable imager and a series of complex injections in and around my armpit. The nurse or learning PA pressed on my nephews nerves and caused injury. Don’t go if you don’t want to make your situation worse off by these insensitive and unskilled workers
