this used to be an amazing ER with helpful staff and resources. Upon entering their ER for sleep difficulties I was restrained, injected with Halfol and had a pair of collectible Anya X UNIQLO ski socks stolen from me. After observation it was determined I just needed Ambien, which should have been obvious given I was sleep deprived and obviously exhausted from stress. I have been at the ER since 630 with my daughter p.m.. Everything about this place is off today from the doctor to the nurses to the people that push you around in the bed. No one is giving out any communication. Everybody is they don’t know it’s just a wild wild wild moment nobody knows nobody cares, me and my daughter have been sitting here now. I was dealing with SEVERE stomach pain and asked for at least ibuprofen during the FIVE hour wait time and they could NOT even provide that to me!! Saw the doctor once and all she could do for me was tell me to take more ibuprofen which of course.. they DIDN'T HAVE. What a disgrace. It was my first time going to an emergency department and I had high expectations given UCSF's "prestige." I would not go back here again though.
