Fine for mammogram but apparently don’t do ABUS breast ultrasound for dense breast tissue. When I made my appointment I was told they’d do it but just one hour before my appointment they emailed stating they don’t perform that service.
As part of preparation for a partial mastectomy, I had several procedures done by UCSF Imaging and Radiology. I cannot adequately praise the skill and compassion of this department in helping me at a very difficult time. One person in particular, Julia Lee, was especially helpful. She was with me every step of the way, explained what was happening clearly, and kept me focused. I greatly appreciate their knowledge and caring.
