It's very disappointing that UCSF Blood Draw Lab has to misrepresent its hours of operation. The website clearly states the closing time is 6:30pm (1830 hrs) Monday - Friday. I was there today March 24, 2026 at 5:55pm (1755 hrs) and it was closed. I ask Security at the front desk what time they closed and he stated they had changed their hours to close at 6:00pm (1800 hrs). I have had many blood draws at this lab. I have always found the staff to be kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. Sometimes the faculty is quite busy, but the staff runs it efficiently.
Unacceptable wait time. One person served in 30 minutes.Extremely slow!
