Im not sure how to spell his name, but omari from the front desk needs to work on his customer service. I just approached to check in and he didn't even look up. He was not friendly or welcoming. He had an attitude like he didn't want to be there and he was very rude. It was June 13th Saturday around 10am. Also it was hard finding the lab because the sign in the lobby downstairs was flipped around. Luckily I found the sign and figured out which floor it was. Maybe the person staffing the front desk can spend less time chatting with her co-workers and more time focused on the patients. Didn't ask me any questions, just gave me a number and told me to sit down and wait for it to be called. I was sent back to her because I had an actual appointment, and she had the nerve to be snotty to me.
It's very disappointing that UCSF Blood Draw Lab has to misrepresent its hours of operation. The website clearly states the closing time is 6:30pm (1830 hrs) Monday - Friday. I was there today March 24, 2026 at 5:55pm (1755 hrs) and it was closed. I ask Security at the front desk what time they closed and he stated they had changed their hours to close at 6:00pm (1800 hrs).
