Horrible experience. Facing a $1700 bill after getting a $0 estimate (after co-pay), after waiting 6 months for an appointment. UCSF Allergy and Immunology is an in-network provider with my Cigna PPO. Ahead of my testing, I got an estimate from UCSF for a $50 copay and zero out of pocket. They said they called Cigna and confirmed. I cross checked and confirmed on the Cigna website. But when UCSF actually bill you, they bill you twice: once as an "Outpatient Hospital" and once for the doctor. And Outpatient Hospitals are cove... read more

I called the clinic today and was told the earliest available appointment is in 6-8 months. Save your money and go somewhere else. The care is really subpar. My appointment was rushed to the point that my allergy testing wasn't done properly/I got no results but still had to pay the $900 bill. Some of the staff is not fully present or knowledgeable.

$867 for a visit where we did NOTHING. All I wanted was to know their allergy shot process. They wouldn’t see me unless I got a referral. So they wouldn’t tell me about costs for ANYTHING unless I came in. Now with ZERO treatment and ZERO new information, they charge me $867, of which I have to pay $700? I literally talked to a doctor for 20 minutes. This hospital is terrible and a scam. Go get allergy drops online instead of subjecting yourself to this place.
