My sister getting her treatment here and she always feels comfortable I love her so much I pray the Lord will bless all the workers in this business and UConn #1 place to be.
If you have a loved one who may not always follow every recommendation perfectly, I would caution against choosing UCONN. My mother received regular oncology check-ups there every six months without fail, but despite showing concerning symptoms, her care team did not take proactive steps that could have potentially detected her cancer earlier. The best decision we made was to go to Uconn cancer center for my care! The entire staff is the best! Most wonderful group of people! They all make sure you understand everything and get everything you need for your care! Starting with Viola at front desk to Rachael, Karen M, Amy L, Chamile, Jesse, Anna and of course the best and kindest doctor and highly skilled surgeon ever Dr.Jennifer Jorgensen she knows how much anxiety I have as the entire staff knows treats me so kind so much patience with me! The entire staff goes out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and that you are well cared for medically. I cannot praise my female surgical team led by Dr Jennifer Jorgensen enough. Dr Jorgensen is everything you would want in a surgeon. She is kind, thoughtful, understanding and an extremely highly skilled surgeon. My decision to go with UCONN for my surgery was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life. Thank you all!
