New place is very nice. Staff is great. From front desk to nursing to doctors and everyone in between. Blood lab staff are excellent as well. The connectivity with UConn health overall is super convenient and my experiences from routine physicals to orthopedic surgery have been nothing but top tier. When I checked in, I advised the lady that my Medicare insurance is my primary and my other insurance is secondary. She replied that she has been doing this job for eight years and is aware of which is primary. This is incorrect. Which insurance is primary, depends on many factors. And none of it has to do with her.
Came in at 9:15 for a 9:30 appointment. Checked in and all set. 20 mins later a lady walks in and says she has an appt with the same doctor at the same time. Cool okay wait until 9:45 they come out and call the older lady in even though I was here first. The front desk lady proceeds to give me an attitude and say “yup you do have an appointment and they’ll be out shortly for you” when I asked why they didn’t call me in first they didn’t respond and just said again that they would be out shortly to take me.
