Worst experience ever and not the first time either. Got there at 2:15am i had been aspirating in my sleep and by the time i woke up i felt like i was drowning couldn’t breathe. Got there by ambulance and put in a room. Nobody ever came to evaluate me i could see the nurse at her desk the whole time was very quiet in there nothing happening. The staff openly mock, laugh and humiliate people for being autistic. In particular there is a heavy set female nurse with long brown hair who takes enormous glee in loudly humiliating and degrading the people that she's supposed to be caring for. Her behavior was incredibly unprofessional and she should not be trusted with the Care of other human beings as nurses are not supposed to add to the fear people have in medical settings,. Emergency room is like a train station. Lots of people waiting here like 7 to 10 hours and they don’t even care and people throw up in the ground and it’s not enough Help in inside people walk around talking around they are not taking care of the patients Very sad to see in the hospital with that, I’m patient of the UCONN at last 30 years and I never see this situation in a whole my life is very sad to see that now.
