I recently brought my mother in after she experienced a fainting spell and a significant fall. We saw Dr. Isabel Bedoyan, and I have to say, out of all the doctors my mom has seen over the past 15 years, Dr. Bedoyan treated her with such care and compassion, as if my mom were her own family. Terrible billing support. My doctor used the wrong code for routine Vitamin D/B tests during my annual checkup, causing insurance to deny it. Insurance explicitly said they would cover it if UCLA corrected the code. I made 15–20 phone calls and got the total runaround—zero ownership or department coordination. I am forced to pay out of pocket for their mistake. Unacceptable for a major institution.
I have visited this location a few times since he was assigned this dr through his dad's insurance. I only come here when he's truly sick and am looking for stronger medication for the seasonal virus that goes around. This was my first time this year visiting after purchasing countless over the counter remedies for his cold and virus after an entire week of trying over the counter meds I took him in.
