Best department ever.
Instead of being upset at the people who work here, it is important to recognize this is an Institutional problem. It would be in the University's best interest to address the severe understaffing in this department and hire more staff. Both times I've visited, three out of seven desks were staffed. Both times I have waited in physical lines for over an hour. Over the phone, I was never able to get through despite calling at 9am when they opened. Summer session already started and they still haven't processed my aid. Can't get anyone on the phone nor do they respond to emails.
They have me on financial hold over an error and I can't get ahold of anyone OR make an appointment, because the booking system doesn't seem to work.
