Despite its reputation as one of the “best” medical centers, UCI Health has been a major disappointment. This is the second time I am given an official appointment, only for it to be changed or not honored without proper notice or justification. Patients have jobs and responsibilities. UCI Health is widely regarded as one of the best medical centers, yet my experience has been extremely disappointing. They consistently fail to respect patients’ scheduled appointments, showing a lack of consideration for people’s time and responsibilities. This repeated disregard undermines the reputation they promote. What is claimed about being “the best” does not match the reality I experienced. I reserve the right to escalate this issue to the appropriate regulatory authorities if this lack of professionalism continues.

UCI Health is widely promoted as a top-tier medical institution, yet my experience strongly contradicts that claim. For the second time, a confirmed appointment was not honored, with no adequate explanation or prior notice. This level of disregard for patients’ time demonstrates unacceptable administrative failure and a lack of professional accountability. The bummer is that these Dr's are wonderful, but what they bill for their services is egregious and deceptive. Avoid UCI health services at all costs - they'll take your co pay upfront and then you'll get a bill for hundreds if not thousands of dollars without anyone saying a word. They charge 5x the market rate for a Dr's appointment and in house labs. Go elsewhere unless you've hit your yearly deductible or out of pocket max! Definitely get an estimate before going to an appointment or you'll be shocked.
