Very friendly and helpful. Did not wait long. Dr Kaplan was great.
We paid almost $3,000 for transport to move my dad to UCI for his fractured hip. He was accepted, but 24 hours later we STILL don’t know who his surgeon is or what the plan is. No one is giving us clear information. We’re completely in the dark and my dad is left waiting in the ED with a serious injury. This is unacceptable. Staff on the ground are trying, but there’s zero real guidance from leadership. Can someone PLEASE take ownership of this case and contact me IMMEDIATELY?
Dr Kaplan did an excellent job of providing me the options in dealing with my hand issue.
I called the number on the UCI website about the free second opinion for spine surgery and instead got billed $480 for a short 30 minute consultation that didn't even include the MRI. The whole process was grievously miscommunicated and it is absurd that the second opinion consultation fee is more expensive than an MRI or injection treatment. I would not trust this institution with how their billing works.
