Please avoid Dr. Jennifer Yoon she is awful and disrespectful. My daughter is disabled and she wouldn’t want her involved in my daughter’s care not even family. She’s rude condescending and has an attitude and is very authoritative and does not believe in medicating people who are suffering. she is an awful doctor and she does not belong at UCI
It’s one of the best psychiatric facilities in the area but it is not perfect. First of all, UCI, as a hospital, is head and shoulders above other facilities in the area. They do the best they can given what they are tasked with. The advice given to me by the resident doctor(s) is generally good. It’s not without its share of problems, though. I have seen a lot of bad reviews. I hope I never experience the poor care that these people have experienced. My experience has been wonderful. Super easy making appointments, your psychiatrist follows up with you in my chart, they really listen to you and prescribe the right things and follow up to make sure it’s working. They have never made me feel like they aren’t taking me seriously. They have always listened and taken my statements and issues with compassion and solutions. I love this place.
